Escape from Monkey Island $39.95 LucasArts’ Monkey Island adventure game series has been missed of late. It has been too long since we’ve visited the anachronistic Tri-Island area in a Monkey game stuffed with vivid characters, zany plot twists, and liberal use of awful and awfully funny puns. Thank goodness that the clumsy, bumbling, and utterly charming pirate hero Guybrush Threepwood returns in Escape from Monkey Island… |

Caracas - Modern Lifestyle In A Fast-Paced Setting
The capital city of Venezuela is Caracas, a busy metropolitan area sitting in a gorgeous valley. There are many things that make Caracas a favorite vacation spot, with just a few being the yummy food, the cosmopolitan population, and the unique (but perfect) weather that comes with living at a high elevation so close to the Caribbean Sea. If you are planning a vacation to Caracas, it's important that you get a passport first, and you can get expedited new passports online.
Americans Will Need A Passport
No matter what sort of passport problem you might encounter, online passport services provide easy solutions. For example, damaged passports are not an uncommon problem. It's not rare for someone to show up at the airport with a passport that's too damaged and the customs agent denies them from traveling. It gets very difficult, because there are no set criteria for how damaged a passport can be and still be acceptable. So if you have a passport that is looking a little worn, go online and look into getting an expedited replacement.
Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas
Caracas is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas. This university campus was designed by the most famous architect in Venezuela, Carlos Raul Villanueva, and is considered an architectural masterpiece. The campus also features works of art by several other artists, and simply exploring the campus on foot is a great way to spend the day.
National Pantheon
The National Pantheon is considered by many residents to be the most meaningful building in all of Caracas. Before it was the burial place for Venezuela's most influential citizens, it was a church. Now it's the resting place of the famous visionary and national hero, Simon Bolivar. Simon Bolivar was the man who led several Central and South American countries to independence against the Spanish, including Venezuela. Afterwards, he created a union of independent countries he called Gran Colombia. While you're in the area, check out Plaza Bolivar, another interesting and historically relevant place to explore.
Museo de Arte Contemporaneo
Regarded as one of the top fine arts museums in South American, the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo provides insight into Caracas' cultural and artistic scene. Inside are masterpieces by some of the artistic masters themselves, including Matisse, Picasso, and Miro. The Galería de Arte Nacional features more than 4000 pieces of art from Venezuela's past. The Galería shares a building with the Museo de Bellas Artes as well, which features more global art exhibits.
Avila National Park
One very popular thing to do while in Caracas is visit Avila National Park and go take the cable car to the top of Avila, a mountain to the north of Caracas. It's the perfect place for a breath of fresh air, some gorgeous natural surroundings, and the best views of Caracas available. There are also many parks in Caracas that provide a similar relaxing experience. The Parque del Este is a favorite, and it features a planetarium and a small zoo on the grounds. The Jardin Botanico was created in 1944 and houses over 2000 species of plants.
Part of what makes Caracas such an interesting place is its urban setting enveloped by the natural beauty of the mountain valley. If a vacation to this city is in your future and you still don't have a passport, look into expedited new American passports online. They can tackle any issue, including replacing damaged passports.
